West Kauai has a coffee story of its own. Our 100% Kauai coffee grows at Kokee Farms in the Kokee highlands beside Waimea Canyon. At Kauai Roastery in Hanapepe, we roast it in small batches and let the origin show in the cup.
One farm. A specific cup.
The coffee combines Bourbon and Red Catuai arabica varieties. Look for citrus and jasmine when it is hot. Let the cup settle and a sweet caramel finish comes through. Its medium-light roast leaves room for those notes.
A family that works in coffee
The Loero family has worked in coffee for three generations. Our Principal Roaster holds a Master of Science in Horticulture from the University of Hawaii and has managed coffee operations in Hawaii for more than 25 years. Kokee Farms gives our roastery a 100% Kauai-grown coffee to offer beside the Hawaiian estate coffees and blends we roast from other origins.
