Information we collect
When you place an order, checkout collects the name, contact details, billing and delivery address, products, and order notes you provide. We retain order and payment-status records in WooCommerce. If you create an account, it can show your order history.
When you send a wholesale inquiry, we collect your name, work email, business name and location, estimated monthly coffee volume if provided, and the coffee details you enter. We use this information to review and respond to your inquiry. Form submissions are stored on this site for up to 365 days and sent to our business email. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing email.
How we use information
We use order information to process and deliver purchases, respond to requests, maintain business records, and address store issues.
Payment, shipping, and service providers
PayPal processes payments and provides us transaction status. We do not ask you to enter a full card number on our checkout page. Shipping providers receive the delivery details needed to deliver an order.
The store is connected to Mailchimp. Customer, order, and cart information may sync there even when a buyer has not subscribed to marketing. A non-subscribed contact is not a marketing subscriber. If you select the separate newsletter option, we may send promotional email. You can unsubscribe using the link in those messages or by contacting us. Order and service messages are separate from marketing.
Cookies and measurement
We use cookies and similar tools for the cart, account, site measurement, and advertising. Google services may receive browser and usage information when their tags run. Your browser can block or clear cookies, though doing so can affect the cart or login. Use site consent controls as displayed.
Retention and requests
We keep information for the time needed to handle orders, customer requests, accounting, disputes, and legal duties. WooCommerce currently has no automatic deletion period set. Email orders@kauairoastery.com to request access, correction, or deletion. We will verify the request and explain when records must be kept for legal or accounting reasons.
